"WHO MAY ASCEND THE MOUNTAIN OF THE LORD?" PSALM 24:3

As 2023 draws to a close and look forward into the New Year, the elders of MPC are calling everyone in our church family to participate in prayer for 21 days in January. We are asking everyone to pray for their own spiritual life and development, our church, and our land.

There is going to be a significant season within the life of our church family: electing new elders to join our leadership and it is crucial that we approach this season in prayer. We are also inviting you to come at 10am each Sunday during January as we pray in the Lawther Hall.

We lead this from the pulpit, our leadership champion it, and our people engage.

During these 21 days, we are asking our people to focus on four specific things which involve them personally and also the church as a whole:

1. Ourselves

2. The Lost

3. Our Leadership

4. Our Land

Praying for the personal burdens we experience in our lives. What could God do in your life if you focused on your spiritual life for 21 consecutive days?

Praying for someone who doesn't know Jesus personally. What could God do with our church who have a heart for the lost if we pray for them specifically for 21 consecutive days?

Praying for God's blessing and direction of our church as we enter into an eldership election. What could God do if we specifically pray for the health and make up of our eldership for 21 consecutive days?

Praying for the good of our country. What could God do with our nation if we pray alongside thousands of other believers at other churches who are praying?

You can download our 21 Days of Prayer Card so it can be a helpful prompt and reminder as you join us on this journey
