Rev Stephen McNie

Minister / Teaching Elder

Stephen was installed into Muckamore in June 2022, having ministered in the Republic of Ireland for 8 years.  He is married to Sarah, a native of Co. Monaghan, and they are parents to Beth. Stephen enjoys playing the piano, adding to his record collection and spending time balancing on his paddle board.

His emphasis and vision in ministry can be summarized in the following way: ‘Bringing people into a relationship with God’s Son, God’s Truth, God’s Family, God’s Majesty and God’s Mission.”

Lynn Falls

Pastoral Visitor

Lynn has been part of the Muckamore Church family for many years and has served our church as our pastoral visitor since 2018, having displayed gifts of listening, praying and compassion.

Her main areas of service are for our senior members and those who have recently been unwell.  Until recently, Lynn also served on the committee for the Ladies Bible Study.

Lynn is married to Alan, and her children are David & Lisa.

Steve Gleghorne

Youth Discipleship Worker

Steve joined our ministry team as our Youth Discipleship Worker in January 2024. He is Married to Rebekah and they are both parents to Grace. Steve enjoys walking his dog Ollie as well as playing and watching sport. 

Steve is passionate about young people and helping them discover their faith. He formerly served a church for almost 7 years based in the north coast. His heart is to walk side by side with young people helping them learn to be disciples of Jesus Christ.

Heather Healy

Trainee Deaconess

Heather is undertaking her final year of studies for Deaconess service.  She grew up in Bangor and now lives in Moira. Having studied German and Russian at university, Heather went on to serve in student ministry with IFES in Austria. Returning to the UK, she worked for 12 years in community adult learning in Scotland.

In her free time, Heather enjoys walking and spending time with family.

Heather's prayer during her year with us is that she would continue to grow in her knowledge and love for Jesus Christ and make Him known to those around her.
