Worship is our response to God, both personally and corporately as a church family, thanking him for who he is and for what he has done. Worship is expressed in and by the things we say and the way we live. Worship is the thank you to God that can’t be silenced!
Worship is about focussing on God, how he loves us, how he made us, how he longs to walk beside us each and every day of our lives, and how he is eager for us to trust and to follow him. Worship is about acknowledging God, his power, his glory and his love in everything that we do, and then putting into practice all that he teaches us in his Word – the Bible.
Worship can include praying, reading the bible with an open heart, singing, participating in communion, and serving others. Worship is not limited to one act, but is done properly when the heart and attitude of the person are in the right place.
