Rev Stephen McNie, Minister
Stephen was installed into Muckamore on Friday 17th June 2022, having ministered in the Republic of Ireland for 8 years. He is married to Sarah, a native of Co. Monaghan, and they are parents to Beth. Stephen enjoys playing the piano, adding to his record collection and spending time balancing on his paddle board.
Stephen became a Christian at the age of 7 having been raised in a Christ-centred home. He was greatly influenced by many individuals and leaders in his home church in Ballymoney. In answering the call of God to enter into full-time ministry of Word and Sacrament, his main purpose is to proclaim Christ and Him crucified, to see people enter into a saving relationship with Him, and to see others enter into the Great Commission of going into the world to make disciples.
Stephen says, “My emphasis/vision in ministry can be summarized in the following way: ‘Bringing people into a relationship with God’s Son, God’s Truth, God’s Family, God’s Majesty and God’s Mission.”
