JUMP is for children from Primary 5 to Form 1. It runs from September to June, every Sunday, in the Lawther School (beside the Church), with breaks during School holidays. Each session starts at 11.30am and is a fun packed, quick moving programme of games, bible stories followed by discussion, craft, drama and songs, normally finishing with a bible memory verse and prayer for each other. Oh, and not to mention the juice and biscuits after the games (phew – almost forgot that bit!)
JUMP – Jesus Understands My Problems – Pain – Personality – Parents – Popularity. These are just a few of the Ps that you can find answers to when you come to JUMP. Jesus deals with the difficulties and is the real way to Peace and joy in your life.
During the year JUMP fundraisers for those in need have been a film night, moon walk and of course the famous ‘Africa or burst’ balloon race. Then in May/June we have our JUMP outing to Pirate Golf, Indianna Land or Ice Skating, finishing off with something tasty at McDonalds.
