PW Ladies Walk and Breakfast - Saturday 11th September 2010

PW

It was a fresh Autumnal Saturday morning, and as many people across the community were fast asleep, a large group of ladies gathered together at Muckamore Presbyterian Church, to get walking and to have breakfast together.

This was an opportunity for ladies of all ages to get together for a walk and some healthy breakfast afterwards, to get to know one another more, and to kick-start the new season of PW at Muckamore.

60 people came along.  It was a great time of fun, fitness and fellowship.  It provided a great opportunity for people to get to catch up with one another and to welcome new people as well.

Jennifer Marks, who helps to lead the PW at Muckamore, commented “This was a great start to the new season of PW.  Everyone really seemed to enjoy themselves.  It was terrific to see new people come along, of all ages.  That is what PW is all about!  A big thank you to everyone who took the time to come along.”

This is the first time that the PW has done something like this, and by call accounts, it could turn out to be a regular feature of the PW calendar.  This is just one of the social events organised by PW, outside of the regular monthly meetings.  The next social get together will be a jewellery making evening on 5th November 2010 for all ladies in the church and local community.  For more information, speak with Jennifer Marks, or email:  This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
