Grown Men Recapturing Their Youth At The Target All Age Football Tournament
On Saturday afternoon, 19th February 2011, 23 men got together wearing colourful sports bibs, to kick around a plastic coated ball, at the Soccer Shed in Ballyclare. Who would be victorious in this epic battle? Who would recapture the form of their youth? Who would find nuggets of talent that they never knew existed? Who would be taken home in a big white ambulance? The game was afoot (ball)...check out the video below to watch some of the antics!
A big thanks to Dave Nicholson for organising this latest Target even for the men of Muckamore. The winners of the football tournament were Raymond, Marshall, Stuart, Tim, Alan and Dave. Well done to everyone who took part!

This is taking place on Saturday 26th March 2011, at the Dunadry Inn, from 8am to 10am. Pudding and Pampering Night Goes Down a Treat
Our last Girl's Night Out was a 'Pudding and Pampering Night' held in the Lawther school. We had a couple of beauticians join us, who offered the ladies the chance of getting a mini manicure for just £5! There were all sorts of delicious desserts brought along and everyone got to enjoy a spoonful or two of all of them! There was a lovely relaxed atmosphere to the night and everyone enjoyed a good natter, with lovely desserts and beautiful nails!
In 2005 I headed to India for a year, however God had different plans. Six years on I continue to love teaching in Hebron School, an International Mission School in South India. The students and staff come from all over the world and I have grown to love this community in which I live and teach.
Our first girls night out was held in Starbucks in Junction One, Antrim on 30th October. It was a good wee excuse for us ladies to go out and enjoy a good chat over a cup of coffee and a bun! It was great for us to catch up with one another and meet some other young women that perhaps we hadn't had a chance to get to know before. We ended the night with a few games, where the competitive side of everyone came out and we had a good laugh over everyones 'artistic' skills during a game of pictionary!
In recent years we have seen big changes in the life and development of the church family at Muckamore. It is really exciting to see God at work across the church and local community. One of the recent exciting new stepping stones in the life of the church has been our new deaconess - Amy Magee - who has begun to work full time, alongside Peter, at Muckamore. We managed to catch up with Amy a couple of weeks ago to find out more about her, what her passions are and what her hopes and dreams are as she gets involved church family life.
PW Ladies Walk and Breakfast - Saturday 11th September 2010
It was a fresh Autumnal Saturday morning, and as many people across the community were fast asleep, a large group of ladies gathered together at Muckamore Presbyterian Church, to get walking and to have breakfast together.
This was an opportunity for ladies of all ages to get together for a walk and some healthy breakfast afterwards, to get to know one another more, and to kick-start the new season of PW at Muckamore.
24/7 Prayer in Antrim - late night encounters and post-it notes
At the end of August a team of people from different churches across the Antrim area put together a prayer room, located in the YMCA building at the top of the town. The purpose was to provide a space for people to come and pray to God for 7 days, 24 hours each day. Ben Connelly, a member of High Street Church in Antrim, tells the story of his experiences of the 24/7 prayer room in August...
