This facility runs throughout the morning service every Sunday for children from 0-3 years old.
The creche room is situated in our church complex and is child friendly, with a carpeted floor and small tables and chairs. A wide variety of toys and books are available for the boys and girls to play with. Drawing, colouring in, and singing songs are to name a few other activities that the children can take part in.
We have a very willing and experienced team of volunteers - 2 adults and 1 teenager are available to supervise the creche each week. A rota is compiled with the aim that each person helps out no more than twice a year. Additional volunteers are always greatly appreciated.
Some of our young people have helped with creche as part of the service section of The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, which is also encouraged.
Having this facility allows parents and guardians to enjoy and engage in the church service each Sunday, without interruption. However helpers can discretely access them if necessary.
