
Rev Peter Dickinson, Minister
Peter was ordained in Muckamore in 1997 and continues to enjoy ministry here today. He had originally trained as a motor mechanic before moving into the world of hire purchase and finance, where he worked until 1989, when he began his studies for the ministry. He and his wife, Sandra, have been married for 30 years. Their son, Aaron, lives at home, while their daughter, Sarah, was married in 2009 and lives in Antrim.
Peter became a Christian as a young boy, greatly influenced not only by his father and mother, but also the leader of the Junior CE in Ebrington at that time, Don Rowan. He believers strongly, that every area of life is important to God - home, school, work, leisure and church. So, his focus is on helping Christians to live distinctively as Christ’s wherever they are, whatever they’re doing. He is actively involved in the field of learning disability and is an avid motorsport fan.

Amy Magee, Deaconess
Amy grew up in Ballymoney and studied in Glasgow for four years, where she received an MA Hons in Theology. On returning home, she had the intention of going into teaching. However, God had other plans and she became a youth workers in her home congregation of Trinity Ballymoney. After this she felt God was calling her to remain in church work and the opportunity to train as a Deaconess in the Presbyterian Church in Ireland emerged. She started Union College in Belfast in September 2009 and studied there for one year. She has since commenced her probationary year in Muckamore during the summer of 2010. She hopes to be involved in pastoral visits, mother and toddlers group and the friendship club. She is also planning to set up a social group for the young women of the church to meet together and have fellowship.
Amy got married to Simon in June 2010 and is enjoying getting settled into the Antrim area. She likes reading, baking and knitting. She also enjoys spending time with family and friends and is settling into her new role as a wife.
