Our Community

Our Community - Here and Now

Our church has been part of the community of Muckamore, Antrim since 1840.  A lot has happened during that time in our church family, in our local community and in the world at large.

The community in which we are situated is one of fairly open countryside with relatively few clusters of housing developments, the largest ones being Grainger’s Mill/Alexander Park and Bleach Green.  People travel from as far as Ballymena and Ballyclare to come to church at Muckamore, and it is great to see so many people locally and from further field getting involved in the life of the church.

As a church family we are here to serve the local community, to help reach out to those locally and further afield, and to share with people the amazing news of Jesus and the hope that he brings to everyone.  Through a wide range of activities which take place each week, there are many opportunities to get involved, to meet new people and to find help, support and comfort too.
We are very thankful for all those that come along to Muckamore Presbyterian Church, who quietly and intentionally look out for others, lend a helping hand to those in the local community, and who walk beside those that are struggling with life, whilst offering hope and support.

To find out more about how you can get involved, or if you need help and support in some way, please feel free to speak with the minister, Peter Dickinson.
