Starritt Family

Donald and Helen Starritt

Helen grew up on a local farm and has been a member of Muckamore since childhood. I, Donald, come from Lisburn and have attended Muckamore since we were married some 11 years ago. We live near Crumlin and have 2 children, Rebecca, aged 10 and Amy, aged 8.

I work as a civil servant in Belfast and Helen is currently retraining in childcare. We have a fairly active role in Muckamore church.  Helen is a leader in Mothers and Toddlers and a Sunday School teacher. I am a member of Committee, currently serving as Congregational Secretary. The girls love attending GB and JUMP (Sunday School).

Why do we come to church and why Muckamore? Well, it’s certainly not because we think we have everything ‘sorted’. Church is for ordinary people who need answers to questions in life.  When we have doubts or worries we believe God will not give up on us. Muckamore is a very friendly, supportive and welcoming church and a good place to grow in your faith. So don’t put it off. Take the first step and come and join us!
