Muckamore Friendship Club is specifically designed for the more mature folk - not just from this congregation but everyone from the area and beyond are very welcome!
Here are the five ‘W’s’ of the Friendship Club:
WHO - all are welcome.
WHAT - we invite a speaker or group to come to encourage and inspire us.
WHERE - we meet in the Lawther School, which is adjacent to Muckamore Church.
WHEN - 2.15pm to 4pm on the first Tuesday of each month (running from September to June).
WHY - to meet up with friends, enjoy an afternoon’s chat and fellowship, and to encourage one another in life and faith.
And the BONUS - great afternoon tea!
Alongside a variety of guests and groups visiting the Club each month, we also enjoy an annual outing, giving the opportunity for an afternoon out with plenty of time to catch up with one another. A few highlights for this coming year include Ballyclare Crusade Choir, Amy Magee (our Deaconess) and Nell Hire (gospel singer), not forgetting our own Campbell Younger and Friends.
