PW

PW

What is PW?  Well it stands for Presbyterian Women.  Our motto is ‘Living for Jesus’.  Our group encompasses ladies from every walk of life within our church family.  Here’s what two of our members think about PW:

“No matter your age or status, PW is a place where all women are welcome - to catch up, share a laugh or even a concern, while focusing on God in worship and growing in faith; and not forgetting interesting talks on missions and craft ideas, plus a wee cup of tea!”  (Helen Shanks)

Donna Hanlon writes:  “Since I took the plunge approximately 5 years ago and became a member of Muckamore PW, God has and continues to richly bless me on a daily basis.  I believe this is because in PW we are actively ‘Seeking first God’s Kingdom’ and ‘his righteousness.‘  (Matthew 6:33).  PW is not just a ‘cosy club’ for like-minded women:  it is an organisation where unique women of ALL ages come together regardless of personality, gifts, interests, faith, likes and dislikes, to love, live, worship and experience God’s touch.  He is transforming us into ONE likeness of Christ; as well as teaching us some new skills along the way!”

We meet once a month, on the third Wednesday from September to April at 7.45pm in the Lawther School (the building to the left of the entrance into the church carpark at Muckamore).  We also provide other more information opportunities to spend time together and get to know one another.  If you are female, please come along - you would be very welcome at our group.
